Golf was always a game associated with prestige & charity events. Golfers around the world sacrificing their time and voluntary efforts to share the fruits of their success with others.
In 2007, 2008 Golf Club Bytkowo donated to the charities approximate 16.000 polish zloty all collected from the tournament fees and auctions.
This year we are organizing a third such event - The Charity Tournament, which all income will be donated for the needs of The II Gen Zamoyskiej & Heleny Modrzejewskiej Grammar School in Poznań( ballet, theater, choir, other faculties, etc.) The tournament is held under official patronage of the President of the County Authorities Mr.  Jan Grabkowski - well known friend of the youth.

We are pleased to inform you that:
Sunday 31 May 2009 in Bytkowo golf club will take place The Third Charity Tournament
" The Expat's Trophy" under the patronage of the President of Poznań County Authorities.

The  Tournament will be accompanied by Golf Academy and Golf Picnic so we invite you with your families & friends to join. We have prepared lots of fun and attractions for everybody during the day
All income from the event will be donated for the need of the above charity,

We hope that many golfers also Members of our Clubs will take part in this honorable event.

1.    Eligible to play

Amatures as per definition of  R&A Rules Limited.
The limit HCP 36,0

2. Qualifying, entries fee's and applications:

Starting list with precise tee times will be published on Saturday after 7 pm. In the club house and on line www.polegolfowe.pl

The maximum entries in the tournament -  72 players .
Qualifying to tournament are in order of application as per p.4 Main Rules for Open Tournaments GC Bytkowo,CP.   

b)  Tournament fees:

Men - 160 zł
Ladies/ juniors - 140 zł
Gold members of GCB,CP - 70 zł

Practice round (on Saturday May 30) - 50% of the Green Fee - paid in total with the tournament fee

3.    TOURNAMENT FORMAT, TEES:

Tournament is played over 18  holes

a)  Format: 
stableford na podstawie 3/4 HCP gracza

b)  Tee:
tournament yellow   - for players with  HCP 0,0 - 36,0
tournament red - ladies, seniors over 75 year old  and juniors up to 12

c)    Draw:
as per Main Rules for Open Tournaments GC Bytkowo,CP.

d)    in the tournament the following rules apply: R&A of Golf Club of St. Andrews,  PZG, local rules, Main Rules for Open Tournaments GC Bytkowo,CP.   


4. STARTING TIME, TEE TIMES:

Beginning  -   9.00 am (Shot Gun)
Starting list with precise tee times will be published on Saturday after 7 pm. In the club house and on line www.polegolfowe.pl

5.    The winners:

a) gross classification  Stbl. 
I , II & III place

a) Net stb. classification:
Men Net  Stb.HCP   0,0 - 25,0  - I , II & III place
Men net stb. HCP   25,1 - 36,0  - I , II & III place

b) Ladies classification:
Net stb.   -  I, II & III  place

c) classification Juniors:
Stb. net  - junior champion

d) extra prizes:
Longest Drive Men - hole no 8
Longest Drive Ladies- hole 8
Nearest to the Pin - 18 hole
In the tournament gross and net categories are separate. Player taking 1, 2 or 3 place in gross score can not in the same time receive the prize in the net category. If such case appears the prize automatically goes to the player next in the net classification.

30 May - Saturday
from 11:00 am. - practice round

31 May - Sunday
9:00 - start of the tournament - shot gun
12:00 - 15:00 - Golf Picnic for participants of the tournament and guests
12:30 - Golf Academy
13:30 -  Catering
13:45 - Live entertainment program prepared by pupils of the II Grammar School
14:15 - Auction
15:00 - Prize-giving ceremony for the winners of the Main Tournament and Golf Academy 

All income and funds collected during the event
Will be donated for charitable needs
